The Teddy Bear Chest is based in Oxfordshire, one of several Oxfordshire clients that we have worked with over the past 8 years.

When the owner of Teddy Bear Chest, approached Kenkai to design a new teddy bear website, we discovered that many of the terms that she hoped to be found for on the search engines were highly competitive, so we pointed out that it could take up to 12 months before we achieved rankings for the site.

It was the case, however, that although the positions didn't shoot to the front pages overnight, the progress has been gradual and took a massive jump at the end of January 2007. Since then, it has become one of the most visited Teddy Bear collector's website in the UK.

The site appears on the front page of Google.co.uk for:

Old teddy bears
Vintage teddies
Red Clocks
Chiltern teddy bears
Old Teddies

And literally hundreds of other terms.

Most kCommerce eCommerce websites that that we design and optimise, give a full return on investment within 4 to 8 months and the clients traffic increases month on month, as does their reputation and brand visibility.

In the case of The Teddy Bear Chest, it was a slow starter, but the client had recouped the full investment in his website, (in profit, not turnover), within 9 months of it's launch.
