Website redesign - CSS layout - Bespoke Content Management System

When the client approached Kenkai to develop the new Castlebrae Developments website, there was already a flat site in place, which needed to be developed into a full content management system. The pre-existing site had a pleasing look and feel, but the client wanted to be able to update the site without having to rely on a web designer being involved.

Using the existing look and feel, we redeveloped the site inside a bespoke KCommerce content management system, adding new navigation, new form functionality, a dynamic news area, etc. to the site in the process.

Although search engine optimisation was low on the client's priority list, and so was not incuded in the costing of the project, we optimised the pages for the site's main keytems and we achieved those in a metter of weeks. The client chose to remove much of the optimisation on the site, removing the footer navigation, H tags, etc, but the site is still sufficiently optimised to be found on the engines for dozens of search terms, as most terms have a geographical element.
